Finally they have an amazing bbq spot near by.
First off with parking, there are street meters available on shoreline drive, option to valet right outside of the restaurant, or a parking structure a few minute walk near the aquarium.
They have a outside patio in which dogs are not allowed to join. But their restaurant is large and have a bar set up on the left of the entrance. Their bbq sauce is one of the best I've tasted. They do have different flavors (sweet, fire, and regular) which is available on the table for you to try. So far all the sides I have tasted I enjoyed. Mac&Cheese, Garlic Mash Potatoes, Coleslaw, and wild Rice. A friend of mine has used their catering for their wedding and food was still great. Definitely a replacement of Lucille's ribs aren't dry and is very juicy.
Service is great. Also check in on yelp for corn bread ! Moist cornbread that taste amazing. -

I ran across Q's by accident and I am not mad at all. This place is darling.
Restaurant: Well, as soon as you walk in you have total confirmation that it's a smokehouse: Pictures of cows, rustic decor, the smell of bbq permeating the walls. Clean and clean restrooms. Booth and table seating, though I didn't see a bar.
Food: I ordered Q's BBQ Salad with brisket. I forgot what my cousin ordered. The salad was delightful and packed with perfectly cooked meat. I was pleased! I ordered an alcoholic beverage named Wild Wild West Strawberry Lemonade. Actually, I had two because they were tasty! I saw some items I want to try so I will return the next time I'm in Long Beach.
Service: It was light so our waitress was able to give us all the attention in the world. Yet she gave a vibe as if that's just how she is, busy or not. She was great! Any waitress/waiter than doesn't show irritation with my picky self gets a major gold star. This waitress, HATE I forgot her name, gets several gold stars. I was full of questions and substitution ideas. Yet with the salad, I substituted and removed nothing. ;-)
Odds & Ends: Parking is in one of the parking garages or at one of the paid parking lots. I didn't see one close so be prepared to walk from the car to the restaurant. They offer small vegetarian items but I would not suggest this place for a vegetarian and definitely a big NO for a vegan. The waitstaff's t-shirts have slogans on the back and some of them may offend the most sensitive, touchy, lacking sense-of-humor vegetarian/vegan while most will catch a giggle like my cousin and I did. -

This place is delicious! If you haven't had their fries, you haven't lived. Their BBQ is incredible, we had enough leftovers for the next day, and it tasted just as good!
We also loved the location being right on the water. Would definitely recommend! -

Great flavors! It's a little too salty on the meat but it balances out decently with their bbq sauce - their pulled pork sandwich is great and their nacho chips is awesome

Excellent St. Louis ribs from their Panana Night Market booth in Torrance yesterday. Deep smoky flavor, fall-off-the-bone meaty ribs with just the right amount of fat. Will definitely visit the restaurant next time I'm in Long Beach.
